We are a state-of-the-art feminist research and cultural production studio exploring the ecologies of data, technology, and collective memory.
Founded in Barcelona, Liquen works at the intersection of digital culture, communication, and reflective design practices, helping institutions, artists, and communities understand and reimagine how data justice shapes their environments.

Our practice bridges data analysis and storytelling, connecting dashboards, archives, and public discourse through accessible and ethically grounded narratives.
We believe in slow technologies, transparent methods, and community-led intelligence as tools to foster more equitable and caring digital futures.

We conduct audits and transparency reports, offer consultancy services, and carry out social media and network analyses that reveal how narratives and power circulate online. Our digital ethnographies and UX evaluations bring qualitative depth and inclusive perspectives to user experience and participation.

Through data visualization and digital storytelling, we turn information into accessible and emotionally resonant narratives. Our work in critical pedagogy, gender-based violence prevention, and the implementation of diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives extends to the management of toxic behaviour in digital ecosystems, promoting fairer, safer, and more caring digital cultures.
